Harris notches runner-up finish in Larry Duty Memorial at Putnam

Clay Harris made his first ever start at Putnam Raceway (Satsuma, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Larry Duty Memorial. Drawing 19 Florida Late Model Challenge Series entries, Harris secured his spot into the Saturday’s $10,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory.

Improving one spot in the 50-lap affair, Clay scored a runner-up finish, which came behind Donnie Chappell. Matt Herlong, David Markham, and Adam Bedenbaugh rounded out the Top-5.
