Fifth-place finish in Ray Miller Memorial at Golden Isles

Clay Harris was one of 47 Crate Racin’ USA entries crammed into the pit area at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, GA.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Ray Miller Memorial.

Following an eighth-place finish in his heat, Harris secured his spot into Saturday’s $10,000-to-win A-Main with a seventh-to-third performance in his B-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Harris advanced through the field 16 spots in the 50-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He followed Mark Whitener, Cody Overton, Hunter Peacock, and Trynt Lloyd across the line.
