Clay Harris notches runner-up finish in Gene Maine Memorial

Saturday night found Clay Harris in action at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) for the Crate Racin’ USA sanctioned Gene Maine Memorial. With the second-fastest time in his qualifying group placing him on the second row for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Harris raced forward two spots in the 50-lap affair to register a second-place finish. He trailed Henry Carter to the checkers with Trynt Lloyd, Jimmy Thomas, and Matthew Brocato rounding out the Top-5.
