Harris closes out 2022 season at Waycross

Clay Harris trekked to Waycross Motor Speedway (Waycross, Ga.) on Friday to pilot his Rescue Metal Framing No. 6 Late Model with the Southern Clash Late Model Series.

With qualifying scheduled for Friday night, Harris went 14th quickest out of 20 late models that recorded a lap.

On Saturday, Harris lined up on the seventh row for the 100-lap Ralph Allen Showdown feature. Clay made his way to the fifth position before suffering a flat tire that forced him to come pit side. After his team changed the tire quickly, Harris restarted in the 12th position and came charging through the field to finish on the podium in third.
