Clay Harris runner-up with Southern Clash at Waycross

With weekend forecasts keeping him close to home this weekend, Clay Harris made the trip to Waycross Motor Speedway (Waycross, Ga.) for the $2,505-to-win Southern Clash Late Model event.

With the fastest lap in time trials, Harris put his No. 6 Late Model on the pole for the 30-lap main event. In the 12-car field, Harris led the first seven laps of the feature before giving up the lead to eventual race-winner Kyle Van Sickle. Clay was scored second.
