Harris shows speed with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Duck River
Making the long haul to Tennessee on Saturday afternoon, Clay Harris invaded Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) to compete in the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series-sanctioned Deep Fried 75.
Among 39 Late Models at the track, Clay qualified seventh-fastest in his group before earning a fifth-row starting position in his heat race. Starting the $20,000-to-win main event from ninth, Harris faded throughout the extended 75-lap feature to finish 16th.
