Clay Harris attends Alabama State Championships at EAMS
Clay Harris made the trip to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon to kick off the Alabama State Championships.
Competing in the Limited Late Model portion of the weekend, Harris qualified fifth-quickest in his group among 33 entries checked in.
With the $7,500-to-win main event slated for Sunday, Clay started the 40-lap main event from the fifth row and was running inside the Top-5 when mechanical issues forced him to pull in. He was scored 13th in the final rundown.
