Illinois Speedweek brings Clay Harris to Midwest
With a huge 49-car field on hand, Clay Harris kicked off Illinois Speedweek on Tuesday afternoon at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway with FloRacing Night in America.
Finishing ninth in a B-Main, Harris did not make the cut for the $20,000-to-win feature. Clay did not make the next two FloRacing shows at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) or Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway.
Focused on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend events, Clay did not race his way into the Farmer City 74 on Friday but did manage to make the $30,000-to-win finale at Fairbury (Ill.) where he finished 16th.
