Harris earns podium finish ahead of 10th-place finish in Topless 100 at Batesville
Pulling off the roof for the weekend, Clay Harris checked into Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) on Friday afternoon for the 33rd-annual Topless 100 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Among a 44-car field, Harris started 16th in the 25-lap preliminary feature and stormed forward through the competition to land on the podium in third. He trailed Jonathan Davenport and Ricky Thornton Jr. while Dan Ebert and Timothy Culp completed the Top-5.
Harris earned a third-row starting spot for Saturday's 100-lap finale and survived for a Top-10 finish in 10th.
