Harris mounts charge to sixth-place finish at Needmore Speedway with Crate Racin' USA

Clay Harris followed the Crate Racin' USA boys to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) on Friday evening to kick off the two-day South Georgia Showdown.

Missing the mark in his qualifying session, Harris started 22nd and stormed through the field to finish just outside the Top-5 in sixth.

Saturday's show was canceled due to high winds and cold weather.

Clay then went back to Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.), but was forced to head back home after dealing with mechanical trouble.
