Clay Harris follows Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway

With a quick turnaround from Eldora, Clay Harris checked into Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Mountain Moonshine Classic.

With 42 Lucas Oil Super Late Models signed in, Harris did not make up any spots in his heat race or B-Main which forced him to use a provisional in the 40-lap feature where he recorded a 26th-place finish.

Grabbing the final transfer spot in his B-Main on Saturday, Clay made up two spots in the 60 lapper to finish 19th.

Clay continues to lead the Rookie of the Year standings.
