Mechanical trouble for Clay Harris in Reutimann Memorial at Volusia Speedway Park
Staying in his home state of Florida, Clay Harris was one of 40 DIRTcar UMP Modified entries at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternoon as he kicked off the Reutimann Memorial.
Harris kicked off the two-day show with a solid third-place showing in the third showdown feature on Friday evening. Clay was slated to start 10th in the 50-lap, $10,000-to-win feature event on Saturday, but was unable to make any laps after discovering a terminal mechanical issue.
