Harris closes out 2026 Speedweeks with pair of fourth-place finishes at Golden Isles
Clay Harris rolled into Golden Isles Speedway (Waynesville, Ga.) on Wednesday afternoon for the final four nights of the Wieland Winternationals as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series wrapped up their 2026 Speedweeks.
Finishing 11th in the $7,000-to-win opener, Harris stormed through the field on Thursday evening after starting 13th and wound up inside the Top-5 in fourth. Clay recorded another 11th-place finish on Friday and then once again finished fourth on Saturday evening. Harris charged through the field in the finale as well, making a 24th-to-4th run.
Harris sits fourth in the series point standings after Speedweeks.
